Woman dragged into a white BMW on Pontypridd night out before passers-by rush to help her – The Sun

FOUR men have been arrested after a woman was dragged to car in an attempted abduction this morning.

Two men got out of a white BMW and approached the victim in Pontypridd, South Wales, at around 1.40am.

She was rescued by two bystanders as she was being dragged into the car close to Evan James Primary School and Lidl.

The two Asian men then got back in the car and fled the scene.

Four men have been arrested in connection with the incident.

South Wales police are now appealing for information and hoping to speak to the two men who saved her.

A spokesman said: “We are appealing for two men who helped a woman who was being dragged into a car to contact us.

“At about 1.40am this morning (August 27) the woman left the Soul Suite, Broadway, Pontypridd and walked along Sardis Road to Rhondda Road,Pontypridd en route to the Asda Garage.

“When she was near to the Evan James Primary School and Lidl’s Store on Rhondda Road, a white BMW pulled into the junction of the roadway entering the Evan James school and two Asian men got out.

“They approached the victim and began to drag her into the BMW.

“Two white men have then come to her assistance and managed to pull her away from the Asian men who made off in their car.

“Four men have been arrested in connection with the incident.”
